DANCE MASSIVE, MELBOURNE
As part of my final year of BA Hons Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I worked as project assistant at Dance Massive 2015, a bi-annual dance festival and industry showcase over ten days in Melbourne, Australia. The festival included work by Atlanta Eke, Phillip Adams BalletLab and Tim Darbyshire, and an extensive international delegates programme of 81 representatives from performance venues and festivals around the world.
'To me, there is no performance genre that feels as particularly tied to each Australian city as dance, and no festival that highlights this as surely as Dance Massive does' Jane Howard, Kill Your Darlings Magazine
